
Ms. Julia Ryan is a geologist with 15 years of experience in site investigation, remediation, and environmental due diligence. She has been a licensed site remediation professional (LSRP) for 6 years. Her career has focused on closure of contaminated New Jersey properties in compliance with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) comprehensive regulations and guidance documents. Ms. Ryan also has experience with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Act 2 program and with remediation of PCBs under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) TSCA.
Ms. Ryan has performed and managed numerous soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations as part of remedial programs on behalf of private sector clients in several industries. She has prepared and submitted a wide range of regulatory reports, from preliminary assessments to remedial action reports. She has also issued a response action outcome for one of her cases and supported the issuance of a remediation-in-progress waiver for one case. These activities were completed in accordance with NJDEP technical requirements for site remediation, the Site Remediation Reform Act, the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), and underground storage tank (UST) regulations and associated guidance documents.
