Health
Our toxicologists, public health specialists, and risk assessors help clients and their counsel manage health risks and liabilities. Our team is adept at developing targeted analyses that consider situation-specific factors affecting exposure and toxicity. We work proactively to anticipate challenges, prioritize activities, and develop sound technical foundations to support resolutions.
RISK ASSESSMENT
Having performed hundreds of human health risk assessments in a variety of settings, our staff are known for their technical acumen, communication skill, and acute attention to project context and need. We don’t just “do risk assessment”—we design our analyses to answer the important questions at hand. Those analyses—ranging from simple to complex—are strategic and on-target.

TOXICOLoGY
We provide a robust understanding of a chemical’s potential toxicity, so our clients can make informed decisions about chemical safety. Our toxicologists conduct systematic reviews, evaluate regulatory criteria, perform dose-response modeling, apply computational toxicology methods, and design and contract laboratory studies—all to meet our clients’ specific needs. This approach ensures our toxicological assessments are based on sound science.

BIOMONITORING
Our experienced team designs, conducts, and evaluates biomonitoring studies. We assist in study population selection, statistical design, survey development, and study implementation, as well as sample collection and processing. By analyzing data, we assess the health significance of the findings and explore potential links with environmental or product exposures. We also provide third-party oversight, laboratory analysis coordination, data management, and litigation support services.

DOSE RECONSTRUCTION
By conducting exposure reconstruction analyses, our team evaluates potential sources of exposure responsible for observed or alleged health effects. We combine a full array of forensics tools—such as chemical fingerprinting and principal components analysis—with fate and transport models to identify the sources, relative magnitude, and timing of chemical releases. We use our findings to represent clients in regulatory and litigation settings.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
We offer a clear, science-backed approach to workplace health and safety, guiding businesses through complex regulatory landscapes. Our experts systematically identify hazards, evaluate occupational exposures, and implement practical safety measures. Leveraging quantitative risk assessments by occupational toxicologists, comprehensive exposure evaluations from industrial hygienists, and direct worker health analyses by occupational epidemiologists, we tailor programs that protect employees and ensure compliance. Our integrated solutions empower organizations to foster safer, healthier work environments.
